  • Compile, organize and review incoming information for new opportunities to understand and explain customer requirements and associated risk.
  • Identify and collect additional information necessary to develop a complete solution, while working with sales, suppliers and customer resources.


  • Develop solutions that meet or exceed the customer's requirements.
  • Create documents (proposals, budgets, illustrations) to fully describe and define the solution for both external and internal customers.


  • Work with operations to develop solutions and review budgets as part of the proposal review process.
  • Develop and present solutions to the customers in order to complete the sale.
  • Present the project to operations and track performance as it moves through the various phases.
  • Assist the operations team with changes in scope by preparing budgets and proposals for project changes.

  • Degree in engineering and/or significant manufacturing experience.


  • 5 years in the design/build/service of custom machines/capital equipment, in the manufacturing/factory automation industry
  • Computer skills which allow the individual to effectively utilize spreadsheet based estimating tools and prepare quality proposals and presentations using Microsoft Office products
  • Experience in manufacturing engineering/cost estimating within the automation field
  • CAD skills (Autocad and/or Solidworks)
  • Project management discipline
  • Working knowledge of machine control systems
  • CRM experience
  • MRP experience
  • Technical writing experience
  • Working knowledge of basic business accounting
  • Effectively communicating ideas to internal and external customers
  • Business travel


Project Manager

Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of cross-functional team in the development and build of original equipment. Ensures that goals and objectives of each project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and within budget goals. Superior and effective leadership, communication, and management skills are required for this position. You must conduct yourself professionally, with work habits and personal conduct that reflect moral values and show a commitment to excellence.

Skills and Abilities:

  • In-depth understanding of automation and manufacturing operation
  • Knowledge of algebra, geometry, & trigonometry.
  • Well-developed understanding of materials, components and engineering technology.
  • Analytical ability to solve complex problems.

  • Skilled in Microsoft Office to include Project and AutoCad Experience:
  • Bachelors of Science degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Five years of project experience in automatic assembly or related factory automation areas such as welding, robotics, parts handling, testing, etc.
  • Must have experience managing automation programs that involve multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Must have a proven track record of providing positive leadership and coordination to a multi-disciplined project design.
  • Must have a practical working knowledge of the automation industry and customer processes.



  • Key customer contact for assigned projects. Responsible for customer satisfaction. Maintain regular contact (verbal and written) with key customer representative(s) ensuring all key project events and issues are documented in writing.

Electrical Controls Engineer

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering desired but not required. Electrical Controls Engineers must have experience with AutoCad 2002 or higher, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic design and also electrical panel design.

IT Support Technician

About the Job

As an IT Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical PC hardware and software support for associates at our Dayton and Sharonville locations. You will respond to user calls/trouble reports and personally visit associates to troubleshoot the nature of the problem and take the necessary course of action to resolve it. This will provide you with the opportunity to work with a variety of equipment and issues including Windows servers, desktops, laptops, network connectivity, and software issues. In addition, you will also have the opportunity to work with an IP based phone system, custom databases (Access and SQL Server) and be assigned special projects in which you will get to research new technology and solve more complex problems.


Your specific duties in this role will include:

  • Responding to associate needs to troubleshoot the nature of reported problems and taking necessary steps to resolve those problems 
  • Building and configuring PCs and laptops as well as loading software, and conducting audits for software licensing. 
  • Running and managing network infrastructure
  • Support and management of CAD systems and their custom configurations 


  • 2 year IT degree or equivalent experience
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Independent, self-starting attitude
  • A+ Certification, a plus
  • Hands on experience with PC operations, preferred
  • Windows operating systems experience
  • Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel, Access
